Land Transactions under Standing Order 168(3) –

 

(a)   Unit Nos. 94–96,Central Market, St. Helier – lease assignment;

 

(b)   B006, B006A, B007 and B007A, Jersey Airport, assignment of leases to Fuel Supplies C.I. Ltd.

REPORT

 

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

 

(a)        Land transaction –

 

            The assignment of a lease in relation to Unit Nos. 94 – 96 situated in the Central Market, St. Helier, from Mrs. Louise Noel T/A ‘The Garden Shed’ to J.P. Associates Ltd. T/A ‘Beanies Greeting Cards’ for the remaining term of the 9 year lease, which commenced on 7th April 2005. The assignment is deemed to be effective from the date agreed between the parties.

 

            The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

 

            After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

(b)        Land transaction –

 

            The Minister considered MD-E-2008-0140 and accepted the decision of the Minister for Economic Development to approve and be party to the assignment of 2 leases; one lease relating to Jersey Airport Fuel Compound Units B006 and B006A, and the other lease relating to Jersey Airport Fuel Compound Units B007 and B007A. The leases will be assigned from Shell U.K. Ltd. to Fuel Supplies C.I. Ltd.

 

            The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

 

            After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
