Land Transactions under Standing Order 168(3) –

(a) Mycroft Cottage, 7 Le Clos des Champs, La Route de Maufant, St. Saviour: Assisted House Purchase Property;

(b) The Parsonage, St. Aubin, St. Brelade: new Lease from the Trustees of the Parsonage.

REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

(a) Land transaction –

Under the Assisted House Purchase Scheme, the sale by the Public of Mycroft Cottage, 7 Le Clos des Champs, La Route de Maufant, St. Saviour to Bloor Property Limited, in consideration of the payment of the outstanding Assisted House Purchase loan balance at the time of passing contract.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

(b) Land transaction –

An agreement entered into by the Public of the Island with the Trustees of the Parsonage in relation to the lease of a four-bedroom property known as The Parsonage, La Rue du Crocquet, St. Aubin, St. Brelade.

The lease shall be for a period of 5 years, with effect from 1st January 2008, upon tenants’ internal repairing terms.

The rental shall be £19,000.00 per annum subject to annual review in accordance with the Jersey Retail Price Index.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
