Land Transactions under Standing Order 168(3) –

(a) Gouray Youth Centre, Gorey Village, Grouville – lease – amendment;

(b) Beau Sejour, Mont Millais, St. Helier, JE2 4RA – lease.

REPORT

Decision(s): Under Standing Order 168(3) the Minister for Treasury and Resources hereby notifies the States that he has accepted the recommendation of the Property Holdings Department to agree to the following –

(a) Land transaction –

The amendment of MD-PH-2006-0044 to agree for the Public to pay the reasonable legal fees of the Trustees of the Gouray Youth Centre Trust, associated with the preparation of this lease agreement. All other terms of the agreement are to remain the same.

The Minister hereby authorises the Attorney General and the Greffier of the States to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.

(b) Land transaction –

For the Public of the Island to enter into a lease with Mr. Stuart Edward McInness for Beau Sejour, Mont Millais, St. Helier, JE2 4RA for a period of 6 months, with effect from 1st May 2008, upon tenant’s internal repairing terms.

The Minister hereby authorises the Director of Property Holdings to pass any contract which is required to be passed on behalf of the Public.

After the expiry of 15 days following presentation to the States the transaction may be concluded.
