The next States meeting will take place on: 08 September 2008

The States have completed the business of the First Session of 2008 and are now in recess for the summer.

The States will reconvene after the summer recess on Monday 8th September 2008. Click on Forthcoming Business to see the public business listed for the first meeting of the Second Session.

Elections for Senator and Connetable will be held on Wednesday 15th October and elections for Deputies will be held on Wednesday 26th November 2008. The new States will meet for the first time on Monday 8th December 2008 to elect a Chief Minister.

THE COMMITTEE OF INQUIRY to examine the operation of third party planning appeals, led by the Chairman Advocate C.G.P. Lakeman, is currently receiving evidence.
