President - Sir Philip Bailhache, Bailiff

 

Record of service to the States:
Sir Philip Bailhache, the President of the States, has been a member of the States of Jersey since 1972. He was elected as Deputy of Grouville in 1972 but resigned from this elected position when appointed as HM Solicitor General in 1975. He was sworn in as HM Attorney General in 1986 and as Deputy Bailiff in 1994. He has been Bailiff of Jersey since 1995. Website- http://www.gov.je/BailiffsChambers
